Special Olympics Ohio has selected Avery Reinwald to fill the recent sports program vacancy for Manager of Coaches Education and Sports Planning. Avery will be a wonderful addition to complete our sports program team.
Avery is from Hartland, Michigan and is completing her studies at Cleary University. She will graduate this spring with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Promotion Management and a minor in Business Management. During her experience at Cleary, she was part of the Women’s Softball Team, Bowling Team, and also helped establish a Unified Sports program at the university. For the last two years she has interned for Special Olympics Michigan’s (SOMI) Southeast office. While she was with SOMI, her focus was on managing and developing systems for all their regional sports tournaments. In 2018, she focused on expanding Special Olympics College initiatives and promoting the Young Athletes Program. In her free time, Avery enjoys watching all sports, being with her family, and volunteering with different animal rescue programs.
Avery will report to VP of Sports and Programs, John Wysocki. We are very excited to have her as part of the Special Olympics Ohio family. Welcome aboard, Avery!
