Homemade Brand Ice Cream Going For the Gold to benefit SOOH!

United Dairy Farmers’ Homemade Brand Ice Cream has partnered with Special Olympics Ohio for their newest Limited Edition ice cream.

Limited Edition Go for the Gold Chocolate and Vanilla is made with delicious French Vanilla and Chocolate ice cream plus Homemade Brand’s signature homemade chips.

Part of the proceeds of sales will benefit Special Olympics Ohio.

And, Special Olympics Ohio athlete Justin Glas adorns the package! Justin has been a Special Olympics Ohio athlete for more than fifteen years. Twenty-nine year old Justin trains and competes in Medina County where he excels in track & field and cross-country skiing. Justin’s favorite sport to watch is American football and his favorite sport to participate in is track. His sports heroes include LeBron James and The Ohio State football team.

When he’s not training or competing, Justin works at a café and spends time volunteering at a nursing home. He is also an usher at his church where he attends a social group as well. Justin also enjoys horseback riding, playing baseball, and spending time with family and friends.

Look for Limited Edition Go for the Gold pints in your favorite grocery store and at United Dairy Farmers locations all over Ohio! Plus, the Homemade Brand Little Dipper ice cream truck will be on site with samples in Athlete Village at the State Summer Games on Saturday, June 29.
