SPECIAL OLYMPICS OHIO TO HOST STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT AT MEADOW LINKS THIS WEEKEND
WHAT – The 2023 Special Olympics Ohio State Golf Tournament
WHO – Almost 250 athletes and partners from 25 local Special Olympics organizations will participate.
WHEN – Saturday, September 23, 2023 and Sunday, September 24, 2023 starting with Opening Ceremonies at 8:45 a.m. each morning
WHERE – Meadow Links & Golf Academy – 10999 Mill Rd, Forest Park, OH 45240
WHY – This Saturday and Sunday, September 23rd and 24th, Special Olympics Ohio will host the State Golf Tournament at Meadow Links & Golf Academy in Forest Park. The State Golf Tournament is one of four competitions spread across Ohio that make up the 2023 Fall Games. Nearly 250 athletes with intellectual disabilities and their partners will compete in a 9-hole round and a skills competition over the weekend. The athletes of Special Olympics Ohio are excited for the opportunity to compete. This is the twenty-ninth year that Special Olympics Ohio has partnered with Meadow Links & Golf Academy to host the event, both organizations are looking forward to celebrating our athletes again!
