SPECIAL OLYMPICS OHIO TO HOST STATE GOLF TOURNAMENT AT MENTEL MEMORIAL THIS WEEKEND
WHAT – The 2024 Special Olympics Ohio State Golf Tournament
WHO – Nearly 300 athletes, Unified partners and coaches from 34 local, community-based Special Olympics Ohio organizations will participate.
WHEN – Saturday, September 21, 2024 starting with Opening Ceremonies at 8:45 a.m. each morning
WHERE – Mentel Memorial Golf Course- 6005 Alkire Rd, Galloway, OH 43119
WHY – This Saturday, September 21st, Special Olympics Ohio will host the State Golf Tournament at Mentel Memorial Golf Course in Galloway. The State Golf Tournament is one of four competitions spread across Ohio that make up the 2024 Fall Games. Nearly 300 athletes with intellectual disabilities and their Unified partners will compete in a 9-hole round on Saturday. This is the first year that Special Olympics Ohio has partnered with Mentel Memorial Golf Course to host the event. Both organizations are looking forward to celebrating our athletes and watching them compete!
