Special Olympics Ohio is pleased to announce the hiring of Amanda Crawford as Director of Development. In collaboration with the entire Special Olympics Ohio team, Amanda will oversee the design, implementation, and direction of a comprehensive development and stewardship plan. This will include individual, corporate, and community service clubs, as well as fundraising and program event sponsorships.
Amanda was most recently with the Ohio State Bar Foundation, where she held the position of Director of Development and led a direct report team of five members. As a member of the OSBF Executive Team, she was involved in strategic planning, foundation marketing & branding, and was responsible for identifying, setting, and executing organizational goals and objectives.
Collectively, Amanda is a development professional with over a decade of successful experience in resource development, donor stewardship, and volunteer recruitment and retention. Amanda specializes in standardization of process and procedures for data management. A strong believer in the power of positive thinking in the workplace, Amanda regularly develops internal wellness campaigns to assist employees with effective strategies for work life balance, as well as health and wellness.
Amanda currently resides in Grove City and holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Marketing from Kent State University. In her free time, Amanda enjoys a good Netflix binge, but can also be found working on a vast array of home renovation projects.
Amanda officially begins her position on Monday, March 25th.
