Springdale Police Department Host First Cop On Top Event

Officers from the Springdale Police Department will be perched on 3 stories of scaffolding on August 6 - 7, 2010 at the first "Cop On Top" event for Ohio's Law Enforcement Torch Run.  Officers will be collecting donations for 36 hours straight in an attempt to raise $10,000 for Special Olympics Ohio.  The event will be held at the Springdale Walgreens located at 385 Northland Blvd.

Officers and community dignitaries will take turns sitting on the scaffolding and will have a street team collecting the donations.  B105 and the Wolf radio stations will be on hand for prizes and give aways on Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
